Mamá de Nikola (5 años), educadora y especialista en psicología de grupos. Inicié mi experiencia laboral en el mundo corporativo para luego encontrar mi vocación en la educación con niños y adolescentes con quienes trabajé por 2 años. Siguiendo tradición de familia, lanzamos nuestro propio emprendimiento, pero rompiendo el esquema con un proyecto tecnológico educativo. Me mudé a Chile en 2016 para participar en el programa de Start Up Chile y de allí en adelante vivo y trabajo abocada a desarrollar el primer robot social educativo para niños hecho en Latinoamérica.

Ingeniero civil mecánico y Magister en negocios, orientado al desarrollo de productos y emprendimientos tecnológicos, ñoño y apasionado por los robots desde que veía Astroboy y Robotech. Quería hacerle su propio robot a Nikola y así nació SIMA Robot.

Breve descripción de SIMA Robot:

SIMA es un robot social educativo capaz de interactuar de forma natural con sus usuarios, mediante voz, gestos y movimientos para desarrollar actividades orientadas a niños a partir de 4 años. Es completamente interactivo para jugar y aprender, además de ser programable. El principal elemento innovador es que integramos la capacidad de interacción social con robots educativos de forma accesible, siendo los pioneros en el desarrollo de este tipo de tecnología en Latinoamérica.

Nikola’s mother (5 years old), educator and specialist in group psychology. I began my work experience in the corporate world to later find my vocation in education with children and adolescents with whom I worked for 2 years. Following family tradition, we launched our own business, but breaking the scheme with an educational technology project. I moved to Chile in 2016 to participate in the Start Up Chile program and from then on I live and work dedicated to developing the first educational social robot for children made in Latin America.

Mechanical civil engineer and Business Master, oriented to the development of products and technological ventures, nerdy and passionate about robots since he saw Astroboy and Robotech. He wanted to make his own robot for Nikola and thus SIMA Robot was born.

Brief description of SIMA Robot:

SIMA is an educational social robot capable of interacting naturally with its users, through voice, gestures and movements to develop activities aimed at children from 4 years old. It is fully interactive to play and learn, as well as being programmable. The main innovative element is that we integrate the capacity for social interaction with educational robots in an accessible way, being the pioneers in the development of this type of technology in Latin America.
